LiveContext - Test and Showcase Centre for DevelopersWhat is it? With the InContext visualiser you can visualise RDF. InContext uses a schema that acts as ‘glue’ between your data and the visualisation. The schema and configuration tell InContext which elements of your data to visualise and how to display properties of certain elements in the visualisation. When you want to see the way InContext visualises your RDF, you can use LiveContext, without having to set up your own InContext environment. When you want to modify the way InContext visualises your RDF, you can use LiveContext to make changes in the configuration. Who is it for? Webdevelopers How does it work? Load up your (enhanced publication) data in RDF/XML or RDF/JSON format, either by pasting the source into the appropriate textbox on the ‘source’ tab directly or by providing a URL that references valid data at a remote location on the web. Input your own data in the input fields on the tabs ‘source’, ‘configuration’ and ‘schema’. By customising the configuration parameters and the schema on the ‘configuration’ and ‘schema’ tabs you can manipulate the visualisation. Where can I find LiveContext? The following link wil send you to the LiveContext Test Centre: http://surf.showcase.surfnet.nl/livecontext/ About: The InContext visualiser and LiveContext are developed by SURFfoundation within the SURFshare program. You can find detailed (technical) information about InContext on the InContext information page: http://www.surffoundation.nl/InContext For more information, please contact Magchiel Bijsterbosch or Maurice Vanderfeesten. Bug reports! If you find any bugs, please place an announcement on the issue tracker. DevelopersCommits, bugfixes and feature requests should be managed properly. We would like to start an Open Source Community. So please report any use of the visualiser, commits you would like to make, bugs you have found, bug fixes you have made, feature requests and forks you would propose. We have put the code and builds on the Google Code project SURF-InContext. Commits can be made in subversion. Please send an email to the project owners if you want to make contributions to the project. NEW! - LiveContext == InContext Test Center for Developers (Load your RDF, and tweak the configuration settings.) Credits for Initial developmentMany thanks: This initial result is created with the effort from many people from organisations whom we would like to thank for their enthusiasm, effort and creativity:
